Our friends at Disney on Ice- Izod Center in NJ

Yesterday Tyler and I had a much needed special day together. We went to see Disney on Ice. It was such fun. All our Disney friends were there; Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Buzz Light-year and the Incredibles. I was a bit apprehensive since Tyler had never been to a show such as this but much to my amazement he LOVED it and was on his best behavior.

Tyler has been interested in Ice Skating for a while now. He attended a local Hockey game with his Aunts a few months back and ever since he has just lit up when ever he sees anything to do with Ice and Skating. It was so cute when I looked over at this little child, his eyes were as big as could be, his mouth open in awe, his hands clutching the new light-up toy we purchased prior to the show, his little feet crossed at the edge of the seat. It made my heart melt at the site of his amazement.

After the show ended I asked Tyler what his favorite part was. He responded with “helping Mickey mouse”, I was so happy to know that he had actually understood the story line. We all went out to eat after the show, we enjoyed a nice dinner. This was a special day for Tyler and me. I can not wait to have another day with him.
